Ingredients
- ¾ cup vegetable shortening
- 1 ¼ cups light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp water or milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 ¾ cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In an upright mixer, combine shortening, brown sugar, water/milk, vanilla extract and egg on low speed.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Add dry mixture gradually to the wet ingredients and continue to mix on low speed.
- Once cookie dough is formed, add chocolate and peanut butter chips and fold in with a spatula.
- Drop by tablespoonful or small ice cream scoopful onto a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
