My Marble Pound Cake is perfect for dessert or breakfast. Pairs wonderfully with a scoop of ice cream or a cup of coffee.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1 ¼ cups sugar
- 3 tbs honey
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp almond extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl of an electric mixer fitted with paddle attachment, combine butter, sugar, honey, eggs and almond extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients except cocoa.
- Add dry mixture to wet mixture and mix on low speed for one minute until all ingredients are combined.
- Pour half the batter into the greased loaf pan.
- Add cocoa to remaining batter in bowl and mix on slow speed until batter has a smooth brown color.
- Pour chocolate batter over original batter.
- Bake for about one hour or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Allow to cool on baking rack.
