Decadent Dulce De Leche Brownies

Ingredients
- ⅓ cup cocoa
- ¼ cup warm water
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
- ¾ cup flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 4 oz Dulce De Leche
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, whisk together cocoa, warm water, butter, egg, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and sugar until evenly combined.
- Gently fold in flour and salt with a spatula, being careful not to over mix. Once it's barely combined, fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into greased 9x9 pan.
- drop small spoonfuls of Dulce De Leche over the top of the batter, about an inch apart.
- Bake for 35 minutes.

Do you know if there is kosher dulce de leche?

Yes, you can buy a can of Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk which does have a kosher symbol and make dulce de leche from that.
