On a lazy Sunday morning, nothing is more mouth-watering than warm Challah French Toast. Serve with warm maple syrup, powdered sugar, jam, or simply as-is. Each bite will melt in your mouth and your house will smell incredible.

Ingredients
- 1 large loaf sliced challah bread
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- ΒΌ stick of butter
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and salt.
- Add the sliced bread to the mixture, making sure that each piece is covered and soaked.
- Allow to sit for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, melt butter and oil together in grill pan or skillet.
- When pan is hot, and melted butter and oil has coated the surface, add sliced bread to pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Serve and eat immediately.
