Ingredients
- 4 eggs, plus one for egg wash
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 5-6 cups of flour (depending on the consistency of the dough)
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix the first 5 ingredients and then gradually add the flour until the dough isn’t sticky.
- Mix the dough well.
- With a rolling pin, roll to ¼ inch thick on a floured surface.
- Use your favorite cookie cutters or be creative and form your own bizcochos.
- Place on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper or nonstick spray.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds, if desired.
- Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes until golden.
